You need to choose sturgeon food carefully. There are a number of features in this matter. Firstly, sturgeon feed from the bottom, so it needs food that will sink in water. Sturgeons have a well-developed sense of smell, and this is what they use when looking for food. The food should have an attractive smell for fish.
Also, the food should be waterproof and not break down under the influence of water. This rule must be followed because the sturgeon will not absorb all the food at once, but will, so to speak, "stretch out the pleasure". The food should remain waterproof for at least 30 minutes after it is immersed in water. The consistency of the food should also be special: the food should swell a little in water and become softer - this way the fish will eat it faster.

And in order for the sturgeon to grow faster, you should choose high-calorie food.
The composition of sturgeon food can be different. But experts recommend using food with approximately the following composition: fiber, protein, fats, lysine and phosphorus. The size of the fish must also be taken into account: small individuals need small food, large ones need larger food. Everything must correspond to the size of the fish.
