1. Buy caviar from official suppliers - aquaculture farms engaged in sturgeon farming.

2. Demand the entire package of documents - first of all, the genetic passport.

3. Do not buy caviar packaged in plastic containers: glass and metal cans can be used as containers for legal granular caviar. Plastic containers, especially large ones, are a clear sign of poached goods.

4. Legal caviar cannot be sold by weight. The weight of sturgeon caviar, as befits true gold, is measured in ounces.

5. Always check the tightness of the packaging: poachers often pack products from large containers and do not pay attention to the tightness of the goods presented to the customer.

6. Do not buy caviar in questionable places that are not very suitable for this: near metro stations, at train stations, at stalls, in warehouses, etc.
